Learning About Fires and the Damages They Cause
1/4/2020 (Permalink)
Fires are fast and in less than 30 seconds a small flame can turn into a major fire. It can take only minutes for thick black smoke to fill a home. Fire is dark and even though it starts out bright the thick smoke can produce complete darkness. Fire is hot and the heat is more threatening than the huge flames; inhaling the hot air can scorch your lungs and melt your clothes. And lastly, fire is deadly; smoke and toxic gases kill more people than actual flames do. You and your family should always have a safety plan if a fire were to ever occur and once you and your pets are safely out of the house call 9-1-1. Once the flames are out safely then call SERVPRO to come out immediately and begin restoration to hopefully save everything possible
